The Japanese Hickory Denim Work Pants are a relaxed pair of painter pants made from hickory cotton. Hickory denim has been used for workwear since the 19th century, so-called because it’s ‘as strong as hickory wood’. It’s long been a favorite for railroad gear, still worn in freight yards to this day. Our hickory at 8oz is reassuringly tough, whilst still light enough for everyday summer-wear. Combine that with plenty of pockets and a comfortable, roomy shape and you’ve got a particularly wearable pair of work-pants.
