Heatwave is an independent outdoor lifestyle store and community project run by us, Alice & Fionn, based in the small town of Wānaka, New Zealand Aotearoa.

Heatwave offers year-round community projects with the goal of breaking down the barriers to the outdoors industry and getting more people outside.

Located in the Southern Alps, Wānaka offers access to some of the world’s most beautiful trails, stunning mountains, pristine lakes, and year-round outdoor activities.

We've handpicked our favourite brands from around the globe, focusing on sustainable manufacturing, best in class quality, durability and functionality. Every product at Heatwave has been carefully selected to enhance your time outside. We believe in the ethos of buy well, buy less and use more.
